Not only was "Strawberry Moon" a hit song holding numerous top 40 chart positions, "Strawberry Moon" became a #1 hit song on Hugs Radio located in Connellsville Pa. "Strawberry Moon" held the #1 spot for a 2 week run and established Ray as a major player in the independent artist/music community.
"Hearts On Fire" is the opening track to the 3rd album release "Appealing To Angels". In it's simplest form, "Hearts On Fire" is a "rootsy americana" tune that is simplistic in it's production of vocals, guitar and bass. The "bluesy" flavor of the melody gives the song it's "low key" backbeat that is essential to the smooth vibe the song creates. Easy listening at it's finest.
From the "sophomore" album release "2020", "Feelings Thru The Mail" is a "fast paced upbeat" acoustic/rock track that reminds listeners of the mid "90s" unplugged performances by main stream artists, soloists and bands that were showcased on television programs such as "Soundstage" and "MTV" during the "grunge" era of rock and roll. Although not written or recorded from a group performance perspective, "Feelings Thru The Mail" creates a listening environment that one could realistically see performed with a full arrangement and band. "Feelings Thru The Mail" is an upbeat, edgy track and great listen.
The "debut" release of the album "Groove" made it's way to music streaming platforms and video platforms worldwide in 2019. The opening track to the album, "Carried By The Wind", has become the most recognizable track from the album and one of the most requested songs by fans during live shows.
"Carried By The Wind" delivers a quick paced acoustic rock tempo that is coupled with a memorable melody. The melody soars above the steady machine like chord pattern giving the song a feeling of desperation from the opening chord to the final strum.
